Feats. International Film School Gathering
The UNAM International Film Festival (FICUNAM) invites all filmmakers to participate in its competitive sections.
Open call to all fiction, animation, documentary, and experimental films produced in any film school within the region of Latin America and the Iberian Peninsula. The duration of the films can be of up to 45 minutes and their production date has to be either 2011 or 2012. The final format can be Betacam SP, Betacam Digital, DVCam, DCP, Blu-ray, and HDCAM.

Guidelines
The deadline for registration and reception of entries is November 23, 2012.
To register films, all those interested must correctly fill in and sign the registration format available at www.ficunam.unam.mx and send a copy of the film in DVD (PAL, NTSC, or any other zone; in Spanish or English, or subtitled into either of these languages) before November 23, 2012. The DVD must be clearly labeled indicating title of film, director’s name, length, format, and language of the subtitles (if any). The label must also specify whether this is a final cut, a first cut, or a work in progress.
All films registered to participate in either of the two competitive sections will be chosen by the Selection Committee of the Festival, their decision is not open to appeal. The Jury for both competitive sections will be made up by renowned national and international personalities specialized in various disciplines of the film industry.
This Jury will designate the winners of the awards and will give the mentions that considers pertinent (a limit of three mentions is established).
The list of selected films will be announced at www.ficunam.unam.mx during the second week of January, 2013.
The submission of entries to FICUNAM supposes the acceptation of the rules established for both competitive sections, available at www.ficunam.unam.mx
Any other question or doubt will be solved by the Direction of the UNAM International Film Festival
