Parallel Space: Inter-View by Peter Tscherkassky is a completely singular masterpiece. A film about memory, about how images are composed, how perspectives dissolve, how events fall apart, their elements only to be re-arranged into a new whole. A film about film, video, computer, men, women, children, sex, desire and clarity – you feel what it is about, beyond all reflection. Everything written about this film can only be an intellectual exercise at best; experiencing this film cannot be compared with anything.
